"Art is something that lets you breath with a different kind of happiness" -- Anni Albers
I've found that creative work not only lets us breath with a different kind of happiness, but also expands and connects us to our humanity. Enlivens other ways of seeing and expressing ourselves. Provokes us to critique the systems in which we live and imagine new possibilities.
My work experiences in museum curation, community building, writing, art education, event management, and studio art has a common thread: a drive to help people connect with their passions and with one another. I’ve been lucky enough to work with people from all walks of life— from international artists to magicians, astrophysicists to foster youth, folkloric dancers to bio-engineers. Organized, curious, creative, collaborative, I strive to create joyful work and meaningful human connections.
